Yin yoga is a slow and mindful practice focusing on the connective tissues of the body. Poses are held longer to gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints. Qualities of yin are cool, calm, grounding, stillness - perfect practice at the close of a hot day to help the body to unwind and the mind to quiet. These classes are based on the teachings of Yin/Yang educator Jose de Groot @ Ekhart Yoga and will take place on Tuesday evenings @ 6:30.
